Grades: There will be two exams during the semester each contributing 20% to your final grade and one cumulative final exam contributing to 25% of your final grade. Exams will reflect material discussed in class, readings from your textbook, and homework problem sets. Homework problem sets will account for 20% of your final grade, your three news report submissions will be 15%. Attendance and class participation account for the final 10%. This grade includes completing relevant exercises in class that demonstrate your completion of assignments outside of class. All students are expected to attend every regularly scheduled class session. Unexcused absences will be reported to the appropriate academic dean.
